  • lost, I try to help my wife

Hello, my name is John and I live in Spain. My wife was diagnosed with GBM in November 2019 and she underwent a lobectomy and the tumor was removed with a good margin of safety around her. In August 2021 they have operated on her again (rescue surgery they call it), but they have already made it clear to me that there will be no other surgery, so the neurosurgeon laconically said goodbye to my wife, after staring into her eyes .

The oncologist is not interested in anything I could tell her (I have the feeling that I am "the google idiot" to her). I have shared to her the obvious logic of the treatment approach Ben Williams used to cure himself. I have told her about medications that have been shown to be beneficial in fighting GBM, but she told me that I may have read some studies on rats.

I commented to her that the Optune exists, to which she heavily said "it is true", and she affirmed that she will study my request and see if the social security will want to finance such an expense.

They basically left my wife for dead. They are only interested in applying the protocol. I am absolutely devalued in the eyes of the oncologist. I'm just a nuisance who talks nonsense and refuses to accept a reality.

On Monday I will visit another oncologist and later I will visit others in Barcelona to see if I can find someone receptive to my proposals.

Please any help will be appreciated. I need help.

    Thank you

Optune should be available in all of the European union. Not sure if insurance covers it. It is worth trying.
Did they do a genomic analysis of your tumor? Sometimes they find a driver mutation that has a drug available to fight it.
There are vaccines available in many countries - most likely they are not free but still worth trying.
The Oncolytic Virus Teserpaturev was Approved in Japan for Malignant Glioma https://www.onclive.com/view/oncolyt...lignant-glioma might be impossible to get in your country but might be worth a trip to Japan.
And finally, the Care Oncology Protocol is a few old, easily obtainable drugs that are repurposed for brain tumor treatment. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles...019.00681/full

Thank you Sir. I told the oncologist about optune and she said she will study this issue. I have to wait for an answer. I wish can be lucky, because my wife is pregnant and it would be an excellent therapy until we can start chemotherapy. They are also considering irradiating him a second time with radiation therapy.

thanks for this links. I go to study that and expose to the oncologist 😀
